Hello, this is a very frustrating bug. I had installed Adobe Premiere Pro CC 2018, but I disabled automatic updates because of my very slow Internet connection. When I installed it for first time, I do not had none problem. But when I started to create transitions and presets, Adjustment Layer's keyframes began to behave weird and glitchy, like in this post: Adjustment Layer Error .
I just tired of workarounds and updated from scratch to Premiere 2019. I made a mistake and I opened a project from the old version, and I did not try to use Premiere before, so I just realized of the bug late. I TRIED to erase all temporal files from the old Premiere version, but that did not repaired the bugs. Instead, the bug moved to the still images's motion control. Now, when I need to animate the scale or the rotation of a still image (JPEG, PNG, ESSENTIAL GRAPHICS, etcetera), the keyframes won't work. They only work when I animate the Position or Anchor Point properties, but if they do not have animated keyframes, the rotation and scale won't work. THIS BUG ISN'T PRESENT in VIDEO CLIPS.
Things to considerate:
- I'm not searching for a repetitive workaround. If I need a workaround, I just can animate Position or Anchor Point keyframes slightly and everything will work. I don't want to nest the images, because I often work with still images and nesting each of one everytime is frustrating and time consumer. I want a fix if it is possible.
- I'm not using GPU acceleration, only Mercury Playback Engine in SOFTWARE mode.
- I suspect that this bug is related with presets, because the bug appeared when I started to use them. Also I believe that is a problem from the Adobe Files, because the bug did not appeared when I installed Premiere for first time, and it seems that the bug did not went when I updated to 2019. I tried to install the new version from scratch and erasing Adobe temp files, but it is possible that I did not see all of the temporal files or directories. For example, I had not taken the precautions of moving the preset files from documents, so that possible had caused the bug in 2019 version.
- I also tried to reinstall 2019 version but it did not work. Also I tried Restore System tool in Windows 10. Pressing Alt + Shift when oppening Premiere also did not work.
- It seems that the bug had dissappeared from Adjustment Layers, but I did not tried to see if it is still present.
- I had a Blue Screen before, after the installation, I do not know if it is related. This error generated a boot loop and I had not able to start my computer. This is the reason that I used Restore System tool before.
