I had a large clip 3.5GB which was an AE intro and was lagging my timeline, so I made it into a proxy clip, but once I started using it in my timeline, the rest of my
clips which are on their own video layer were strobing or disappearing suddenly re appearing again. The proxy file itself was playing smoothly thought with no issues. What's causing this behaviour?

Just updated to the latest version (v 13.0), and the "crash report" window appears after 1 min of running the program.
The previous version 2018 v 12.1.2 and 2017 v 11.1.4 works perfect. Any solution?

Hp Omen
cpu: i7-7700 2,80ghz
Ram: 16gb
Video: Geforce gtx 1050 Ti (4Gb)
Any ideas on why this is happening? PrPro was not doing this until a week or so ago.

I've searched the forum but can't find a thread about this... I'm experiencing a strange feature/bug that's pretty irritating. A few minutes after I start Premiere, the timeline will start scrolling whenever I move my mouse cursor away from the center of the screen. You can see this happening at the link below:

To be clear: this doesn't happen when I first start Premiere. It's usually 5-10 minutes into a session, and then I have to quit and re-start the program to get a few minutes of peace. Is this something I've accidentally turned on, that I can deactivate? It's really annoying to have the timeline scroll to follow my cursor, when I go for my effects or media browser.

Hello, I had this problem lately that I already wrote 2 discussions about and still no answer, so I wanna ask again. My problem is that I am trying to render and export 4k video, and everytime I try to even render it I get this error. I tried everything, I tried Software Only render, I tried to reinstall the program, install an older version, update nvidia graphics, even there I tried to install every other of the available older version, I do not have gasps in my timeline, I checked more then twice, I also don’t have any lumetri effects. I don’t know what to try next, the last step was to upgrade my GTX 1050Ti to GTX 1070Ti, even there I failed, now I am completely desperate....
Hi was using Mettle Skybox plugins with no problems in the older version of Premiere. Now, after the update I get the "this effect requires gpu acceleration" on screen. The GPU Acceleration (CUDA) is on.
If I open the old version of Premiere (17) the Mettle Plugins are gone.
GPU Drivers updated to latest driver

Please please please I'm halfway through a project
New Windows 10 system and I'm getting frequent random crashes. Happened in 2018 and continued into 2019.
Most often occurring issue is video will stop playing back (especially after switching back and forth between programs, even something as simple as Notepad) and/or cannot load/play videos, Then when trying to quit, it will freeze and I have to End Task.
Steps tried to resolve:
Multiple Projects (starts happening early in each project, before effects, overlays, text, etc, just video cuts).
Video formats: AVCHD H.264 MTS, MP4/MOV H.264
Switched between CUDA and Software rendering/playback
Updated NIVIDA driver to 416.34
Cleared Preferences
Reinstall Premiere
Enabled/Disabled on-board graphics (all monitors are connected to GeForce card)
All dell drivers are up to date (including BIOS).

Intel(R) Core(TM) i7-8700 CPU @ 3.20GHz
16GB DDR4 at 2666MHz Dual Channel

Hi all,
This is the first time I'm encountering this error. It seems to only crop up on some of my video files but not others and I can't seem to find a solution for it.
For the video files that this problem does affect, it occurs only when a preset that starts with the words "Match Source" is chosen (doesn't matter if I choose DNxHR, MXF OP1a or Quicktime as the Format).
Does anyone have any ideas how I can fix this?

I'm having an issue with Premiere Pro CC 2018 that is making it incredibly difficult to edit videos as I am unable to pause the timeline in order to cut clips, when attempting to do so the preview jumps back to the start and plays the footage back from the beginning. The audio plays back correctly regardless of where I pause along the timeline, but the preview refuses to play back the video at the correct time.
I'm fairly new to Premiere Pro and don't understand too much about why I'm having this issue, although I have used CS6 several times before and I have never had this problem occur until now. This is making editing a nightmare as the only way I can cut a clip is to play it from the beginning and wait for the preview to catch up to the part I need to cut.
I've spent hours searching for a solution and re-installed Premiere Pro but I can't seem to find any way to fix this by myself, so any help would be greatly appreciated.

I started to work on a project in Premiere 2018. After the update, the project converted to 2019 without a hitch. Everything was working fine until this morning. Premiere opens, and when I select a project to open, the project opens, but the window never shows. Premiere seems to function as if the project were open, but there are no windows on my desktop. I need to export this video today. HELP!
Hello, There seems to be huge problems with dynamic link.
All my old projects with AE are completely invisible (pending) to PP, also when I try to relink them (and, even worse, PP always crash then).
I have to continue working with 2018 version of PP & AE, the new ones are completely useless, by now.
This problem happened with MAC OS High Sierra 10.13.6.
Today I installed Mojave 10.14 and the problem remains the same...
There are no options to set keyframes for the "Motion" options. I am trying to do a panning shot (motion and zoom) and there is just no way to work with keyframes.
I have certainly done this in the past with other versions of the software, but been banging my head over this.
Can someone please help me get the keyframe option back? I've tried everything...

I have been using Premiere Pro for some years now and this is the first time this error happened to me!
So I have been working on this movie in Premiere Pro CC 2018 and when CC 2019 came out I immediately updated Premiere Pro!
After this update one clip has been bugging the system..
It's a downloaded .mp4 converted to .mkv file (because with .mp4 I got the "The importer reported a generic error." error so I converted loads of files to .mkv).
When I play these clips in the timeline, which are all edited, I get the ''A low level exception occured in: Importer MPEG'' error message.
When I delete the clips and import the files again I get the same error.
I tried changing the sequence settings but nothing happened!
Due to this error I can not edit these clips anymore, Premiere Pro got very slow and didn't respond to little and easy tasks!..
Why did I update? 1. because I prefer wanna use the latest version of the Adobe programs!
2. Because in PP CC 2018 I was unable to use any transition effects.. so I thought maybe this bug will be fixed in the next version, but sadly it wasn't..

im currently editing a project its shot on gopro 6 with 2.7k footage
after cutting them in the timeline it starts lagging and crush a lot
i have not even do the color grading and some special effects to the clips
this is what happens when i open the project it just use all the ram (without start playing back any clips)

When I open my project in some of .mov clips gone offline when I relink or replace it is showing "THE IMPORTER REPORTED A GENENRIC ERROR" but other clips are also same kind they didn't go offline

Estou com um baita problema!
Toda vez que eu vou tentar arrastar um determinado conteúdo na timeline o premiere trava e fecha.
Se eu tenho um vídeo que eu cortei que está lá em 5 minutos por exemplo e quero arrastar para o início da timeline, ele trava!
Atualmente atualizei para o Premiere 2018, mas isso acontece deste o CC 2017.
Meu OS é Windows 10.
OBS. O problema não é arrastar um conteúdo para a timeline, o problema é quando o conteúdo ja está na timeline e eu tento arrastar nela mesma para montar o filme.
Se alguém passou por isso e conseguiu resolver me ajudem please!!!
When opening an existing project that worked just fine so far after updating to Premiere 13.0 and converting the project, none of the of mov and mpeg files will import any more and stay offline.
error message: a low-level exception occured in: Importer Qicktime
Nothing has changed on my system except the regular windows updates and - of course the Premiere update.

Here's my issue. this only started within the last two weeks and the adobe chat has been no help - and has in fact wrecked my computer further since they have remotely controlled it.
Each time I try to export a video in h.264 at the youtube 1080p setting it will either export and look totally fine, no errors, then when i go to open it it won't play.
OR it will again export and look fine and stop playback around two minutes.
I have ensure the entire sequence is selected, I have uninstalled and reinstalled it. I have literally spent my entire weekend on adobe's remote support chat trying to work this out & now they are just saying they are of no help.
Prior to this the remote chat support went into my computer & changed a bunch of stuff, including setting up a new administrator account - now even in the admin account I can't export to my external hard drive (I was previously doing this) and when I asked them how this had occurred they said, 'you can export to a hard drive' - obviously untrue. I also can't save to my external, and they've done something weird to my rubbish bin which is showing up as an error EVERY ten minutes on my computer.
After the latest update to CC 13.0 non of my projects are workable any more. Premiere fails to recognise the Nvidia GTX 970 driver, can not enable Mercury GPU acceleration (the fild in the project setting is grayed out).
Time line shows the red line and clips don't play any more.
This after openig an existing project and converting it to the newest version (13.0).

Nvidia GTX 970 GPU - latest driver installed
As said worked fine untill update was installed.
