On the macbook pro 15" mi-2012 with nvidia graphics 560m, the grading is the same in premiere and the export.

On the new macbook pro with amd graphics, it changes. I've made the same output on both macs with the same specs, the results are different...

dvaaudiofilterscan?

Hi,

So I just did a fresh install of OSX Mojave. Then I installed Premiere CC. On my dock I now have an icon for a plug-in scan. If I hover over it, dvaaudiofilterscan pops up. I searched to find out what this is and got no concise answer. In fact, there was some indication this is malware from Adobe. Can anybody explain what this is and whether it is a concern? Thanks

'This effect requires GPU acceleration'

HELP!

I have Premiere Pro in Creative Cloud on my iMac running High Sierra 10.13.6 and it's all legit software for everything. However I have a beast of a problem which is driving me mental which is when I see a prompt saying 'This effect requires GPU acceleration'. I cannot do this at all and spent over a whole day trying to fix this to no avail - is there a solution to this? If so, can it please be explained to me in workmanlike terms, because I feel like Premiere Pro is not worth using with me being unable to fix this.

A million thanks in advance if any one of you kind people could assist in a solution!

Audio of interview different after exporting than it was in timeline

I'm editing a project and am having a problem after rendering. There's 2 interview clips. I have them perfect in my timeline and it sounds great. Once I export the project, the very end of one clip and the very beginning of the next clip are both extended slightly resulting in hearing the very end and beginning of parts of the interview I don't want. It sounds like garbage after exporting. I can physically edit that track but it's like during exporting it, it reverts to how I had it previously.

Changing Bitrate level doesn't affect on output file size

Hi.

I had this issue before the 2019 update and now after update it is still here.

I always need to send an example clip to customer through WhatsApp. And there is a file size limit there 65 mb. I want to lower the output file size as much as possible and don't worry about the quality.

But for some reason lowering bitrate doesn't affect on the output file size at all.

You can see my settings on the screenshot below. Please mind the estimated file size. On the second screenshot you can see the result file properties.

What am I doing wrong? Please help!

Hello,

I've recently experienced a problem. I finish editing a individual clip in Premiere pro with various effects and when I want to edit this clip in AE and I click "Replace with AE composition", all my effects from that clip disappear. Is there any solution to this problem? Thanks

Synchronising Audio for a Multi-Camera Sequence: Overlapping clips are audio-only. Multi-camera source sequences require at least one video clip.

Hello,

I've got two video clips with audio and two audio clips, from a 2 camera, 2 lav mic interview set up (see pics, which have been synced roughly by eye to show match).

I want to sync these together using audio and edit them in a multi-camera sequence. When I try to do so, I get this message:

"Overlapping clips are audio-only. Multi-camera source sequences require at least one video clip."

When I brought all of the clips into a normal sequence, to check I had the right clips and that the waveform/visuals matched up, they did (see pics). However when I tried to sync them up in this normal sequence, I get the message:

Audio synchronize failure

"Could not synchronise one or more clips in the current selection because a match could not be found."

The 5 channels of audio available all clearly match (see pics), both by eye and by ear, as do the two video clips. Can't work out why they won't sync and would greatly appreciate someone's help with getting these into a happily synced up multi-camera sequence.

Thanks in advance!Screenshot 2018-10-27 19.43.22.png

Whats first? Time Remap or Warp Stabalize?

Hello All,

So I've been doing so work with time remapping and warp stabilizing. I have been nesting the slip with one effect then apply the other effect to the nested comp. I was curious if anyone knew the optimal way to do this as far as the order goes? Meaning is it better to first time remap the clip to your liking and then nest and warp stabilize? or is it better to warp stabilize the original clip and normal speed, nest that and then time remap the already stabilized clip. I have been time remapping and then stabilizing after but didn't know if there was a definite way this should be done. Please let me know your thoughts and link me to any possible source that could help.

Premiere 2019 timeline lag on iMac Pro 27"

Since the Premiere Pro CC 2019 update (version 13.0 (build 225)), timeline updates are much slower.

Scrubbing the timeline sticks and jumps. Doesn't matter if footage has no adjustment/ effects applied or not. Although, adding effects (lumetri color) makes the lag worse.

Adjusting scale and position on clips in timeline from effects panel takes 3 - 5 seconds to update new parameters. Before update, adjustments were in real-time.  Very frustrating when adjusting 4k in a 1080 timeline.

All premiere projects are being effected by the lag after the update.

Please advise.

Trouble Adding Footage to Timeline (PP/CC2019)

Howdy

After upgrading to CC2019

I started working on an edit where I was given MKV files, when I added them to my bin, I created a new sequence from clip. From that timeline I began selecting my clip segments in the Source window, when I went to drag the video to the timeline, there was a circle with a slash through it, preventing me from adding it to the timeline I had created.

At first I thought this was a codec issue, so I used media encoder to transcode all the footage to H.264 and match source - high bitrate. Bringing this footage back into the bins and creating a new timeline from the first transcoded clip selected, I went to drag and drop a new in/out point from the source window and I was greeted with the same circle with a slash through it unable to move it to the new timeline I had created with the transcoded footage.

For reference, I am working on an AMD Threadripped CPU, GeForce 1080 GPU, and Windows 10 (64 bit).

Please let me know if I am overlooking anything to resolve the issue.

Apple Metal vs. Open CL

Just installed V13 and opened an existing V12 project rendered with Open CL.  When I switched to Metal, items in the timeline

that were yellow turned to red and playback stuttered.

I'm running High Sierra on an iMac Pro with the Vega 64 16GB graphics card.

I wanted to see if others are noticing improvements with Metal or just staying on Open CL.

Thanks in advance for your help.

Footage Linking Issues

Hello Adobe family!

I am finishing up an edit on an urban exploration vlog for my Youtube channel and after updating premiere pro and my IMac, I opened the .prproj file and it seems that some of my timeline clips are not linking properly to the source video, even though they are in the project bin and they play in the source window. As you can see in the screenshot, the video can be seen in the project folder and source video window, but not in the program window.

Any help would be very appreciated. I don't want to have to go back in and find the timecodes again. bleh

Thanks guys!

Missing Media Files for These Clips

$

After 2 days of editing and my video at 99% completion, most of my audio files have gone missing.

I'm a constant 'saver'. Saved my project repeatedly. Upon re-opening my project I get this message:

missing-media.jpg

Now, I've closed and opened Premiere many times during the last 48 hours and NOT had this happen. I have NOT deleted any files or renamed any folders so I can't fathom why these audio files would suddenly go missing. I did a search for the missing files and they are not to be found anywhere.

If I can't somehow figure out what went wrong and fix it, my only choice is to waste an entire day re-editing the video. The scary thing is I could do that and this could happen again.

I did a search for one of the files on my entire computer and the only reference that came up was a matching.pek in the P:\Premiere Cache\Peak Files folder. This gives me a worrying suspicion that my audio files were living in a temporary Premiere cache which maybe auto deletes after a set period.

Can anyone save me from jumping off a bridge?

Thanks in advance

Gavin

Why won't my team project open? Rainbow Wheel For Days

$

I've been working as part of a team project for months, and last week my project just stopped working for me. Every-time I open my team project it looks to be going through the media cache and then eventually stops. I will sit with the Rainbow Wheel for hours, unable to click on anything, causing me to force quit and try again.

Here is what I've done thus far:

  • Restart my computer.
  • Clear Media Cache Files
  • Log out of Creative Cloud, log back in.
  • Updated and changed my CC email account
  • Removed myself as a collaborator and re-invited myself to the Team Project using another editor.
  • Had the project Converted from a Team Project to a normal Premiere Project
  • Renamed that normal premiere project and moved it to a different location.
  • Tried opening up an older version of the Team Project.

Lastly I tried opening up the project from two other users, on two other computers, project opened relatively quickly and could go to work. I saw that I have a new Premiere version I can try, but worried that might make it worse.

Please help.

Saving premiere cc 2019 project as cc 2018?

$

I may be mistaken but I thought this used to be a thing.  I wanted to try the new cc 2019 for a bit (and yes I know that this is risky to use new software once it's been released).  So yes I found bugs and it keeps crashing sporadically on copy and pasting a clip in a sequence and moving that said clip.

Either way I just want to save my work and go back to cc 2018 for a bit but there's not an option for this.  Do I just lose my work?

Quick note it's a sound synced multi-cam sequence embedded into another so Final Cut XML will not work here.

Thoughts?

After upgrading to the 2019 version of Premiere Pro CC I'm getting this error when opening any project. I can edit the project but I don't know if any work that I'll be doing will be compromised by this error. I need a position about this problem to continue working in any project in the 2019 version.lvcod.jpg
