I had read that if I double clicked on a BIN it would open into thumbnails of clips in its own panel. But my bins do not open. I can only see the clips inside, if I open as LISTS, and then choose a clip to view in Source monitor. ALSO...I thought I could double click on any clip, in the project, to open it in source. But that also doesn't happen for me. I have to right click, and scroll to it in the menu. I can't find anything in preferences to reset these. Help please.

Sound Issues
I have created a video sequence a few weeks back, and my musician made some changes to the main title track. I saved the old sequence as a new project (backup in case something goes wrong). I then deleted the main audio track, made some minor edits, added audio ducking, etc. Everything seemed great, until I reopened the project. For some reason, all audio is now silent, including voice, music and sound effects. I have checked the usual, mute button not checked, levels, etc. I've even cleared the Media Cache, nothing seems to fix the issue. I don't want to create a brand new sequence unless I have to, and create everything from scratch just to get some minor changes to the audio, but I would like to use the new music. I just can't figure out why the audio is silent.
Any ideas?

Some sound files behave as if they were muted on the timeline
I have a big problem. I've got two layers of audio. One layer is the original sound from the video. The second layer contains audio from the audio recorder. I synchronized them and saved changes. When I restarted my Premiere Pro CC, I realized that the original audio is playing normally, but the audio files from the recorded behave on the timeline like if they were muted. The thing is that they are not. You can play the sound by opening the file in a preview window but on the timeline, even though you see waveforms the sound is not being played. Nothing is showing on the mixer, like if the files weren't there.I can't find any explanation. Clips are enabled and loud enough.
Does anyone have an idea, what is going on?

Difference between using export and queue?
So I know when creating a video project, you can press CTRL + M, and then you arrive at the export settings window. There, you have queue and export. Export appears to just export it then and there. Queue opens up the Adobe Media Encoder.... What's the difference between the two ?

Don't open multiple projects at once: Premiere 2018
Just updated Premiere and I'm seeing a feature that I really disliked about FCP - the fact that you open multiple projects at the same time. I do find this occasionally useful, but not on a daily basis and really it ends up being more confusing and I can't always tell when I've completely closed an old project unless I quit and restart Premiere.
Is there a setting so that I only open one project at a time like the way it used to be?
The way it used to be was perfect for me, but now it would require multiple steps to either start a new project or open a different project if I already have one open.

Proxy Workflow: export using proxies?
I see that when using the Proxy workflow, it still uses the full-resolution media on exports. That's great for the final cut, but when exporting rough cuts it really makes the exports take a whole lot longer - 3x longer on my tests. Would be great if that was an option left up to the user whether to export using proxies of full res media - instead of doing some workaround where I change the location of the original media to force it to export with proxies.
Test export -3 minute 4k sequence with scaled 5k R3Ds (proxies are 1080p ProRes Proxy)

Preset Graphics wont show on screen during playback
Beginner here, so..
Using preset Graphics to make amatuer video. During playback, the Graphics clip will not show up, even after several loops .
Video clips play fine, so Im thinking not a Graphics card/ PC issue.
Is there a bug Im not aware of?
Just finished another video 2 days ago using same Graphic preset, and everything was fine.

Premiere Pro CC 2018 NOT EXPORTING AUDIO
Just exported an audio only version of a sequence only to open it and find that it included about one of the 7 tracks that play in the sequence.
WHY?
WHY?
WHY???
Why can't Premiere do even the simplest things correctly?
Am I going to spend an hour waiting for the full quality video sequence to export next only to find out it only will include one track of audio?

I get the following message when starting Premiere Pro on my Mac OS X Version 10.9.5:
Your screen resolution is below the minimum required 1024 x 768. Please increase your screen resolution or adjust the DPI scaling setting in your Display preference to a smaller size.
Can anyone let me know how to adjust and set up in display so that I do not have to adjust every time I open Premiere Pro

Bring Playhead to beginning
Hello all,
So for a long time I've used W as my 'go to the beginning' shortcut. With the new version (CC 2017) my keyboard shortcuts got erased and I have to start over. So now, the W does something else - that I don't ever use - and so I'd like it to go back to bring the playhead to the beginning. Not also playing (which apparently Return does), just bringing it back.
I noticed that the Home key on my keyboard does this. When I searched for Home I thought I found it and changed it to the W. But now neither of them work!
Can someone help me find which thing it is that I should assign the W to? Because I can't find it.
I've also searched on this forum for the answer and didn't find anything. I guess I"m the only one using W as my go to the beginning. I guess I'm used to it from using the same in Cakewalk's Sonar program.

2 screen workspace reverting to one screen
Hi,
When I launch premiere or change projects my 2 screen workspaces revert to one screen. Sometimes it's the left screen, sometimes it's the right.
Any ideas of how to fix this?

Premiere Crashes when using Track Select Forward
Hey Everyone
Premiere CC 2018 crashes when I try using Track Select Forward (A), when trying to swap clips (Ctrl+Alt+Click), Ripple Edit, and pretty much any workflow effect in the timeline. I'm running Windows 10 and performed the Collect Files and Copy to New Location function this morning to make sure my PC is not the issue. When I open Premiere again, I receive an error message saying "A low-level exception occurred in: Morph Cut (AEVideoFilter:6). If anyone in the Adobe World and/or Premiere Gurus have a suggestion on how to fix this, I'd appreciate it. Thanks!

Creating Proxy Files in PP CC crashes AME continuously
Hi All,
We are experiencing serious problems with creating proxies in PP CC.
This is the background:
We are trying to create proxy files from 8 camera sources that will need to be edited in MultiCam later.
The Ingest settings get set to:
ProRes Proxy 1280 x 720
the clips are about 1 hour and 40 minutes long. Premiere Pro sends the files to Media Encoder and ME starts the encoding process.
After a couple of minutes, or after and hour (time is not constant) AME becomes unresponsive and crashes.
This is the case every time and it does not matter which of the 8 camera clips we use.
Shorter clips (around 10 minutes) seem to be ok.
Any assistance is appreciated

Exporting with HEVC (H.265) color problem on instagram
Hey! I've been trying to export a video clip with HEVC (H.265) and once I posted the video on instagram, it added a weird, ugly color or filter to the video! I don't know if this is a problem with instagram, because when I tried exporting the exact same clip with H.264 the problem was gone. Anybody know what could be causing the issue? I have posted videos with H.265 before and i didn't have this problem until this week..

Problème démarrage Adobe Premiere Pro 2018 ?

Après une installation réussie d'adobe première pro 2018, je n'ai jamais réussi a le lancer avec le message d'erreur suivant :
"Adobe première pro n'a pu trouver aucun module de lecture vidéo compatible"
Ce message apparaît après le chargement (raté?) de "xporterquicktimehost.prm"
J'ai fait cette recherche sur internet.. J'ai donc essayé de mettre à jour mes drivers.
Celui de mes deux cartes graphiques (intégré : Intel, et une Nvidia GTX 1050) sont à jour !
Je ne vois pas d'ou peux venir le problème ? J'ai essayé de désactiver (via le gestionnaire de périphérique) la Intel le et lancer Première, toujours rien.
J'en suis a environ 5h d'essai sans rien aucune réussite je perd patience ...

Aligning text with other graphic elements with the new text tool...
Hello! I've created a text box with the graphics->new layer->rectangle menu. I then created a block of text. I'd like to align my text over the text box. This used to be easy in the old legacy title creation window, but now I can't seem to find a way to align text with other graphic elements. I can align the text with center of the frame, but not relative to other objects. Please help!

Media Encoder opening, but not taking my queue requests from Premiere
Hi, I am having an issue with Media Encoder.
When I'm ready to send a sequence from Premiere, I hit "Queue" and Adobe Media Encoder opens, but then nothing happens. It does seem to receive the information from Premiere.
I have uninstalled and reinstalled both programs multiple times.
Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
