I keep choosing the option "Add Fonts from Typekit" and even though I already synced all the fonts I wanted and rebooted the app.
The fonts still won't appear. How do I do this correctly?

Dear Everybody,
I have a problem concerning Premiere Pro CC 17.
We had a problem. We were editing 4K in Premiere and exported our files in Prores 422, so we could edit offline.
Then I opened a new project and imported the exported footage, which worked out great. You could hear videos and see the sound.
Then we changed the location of the files we imported on our hard drive and relinked them again. After that both audio and video tracks could be seen in the timeline, but we neither heard any of the audio nor did the audiometer on the bottom right hand corner work.
Later on we found out or changed that one of the audio tracks was green. (I can't remember how that exactly happened, since we were experimenting to solve the problem). This green track you could hear. The rest of the audio and video tracks were all blue. The video worked, but everywhere, where the audio was blue, the audio meter did not move up and we didn't hear anything.
Does anyone know why this is this way it is and what the colors of the audio tracks have to do with it. The blue seemed to refer to a whole area, that was marked blue. If we made the green track longer, going into the blue area, that part of the green track that went into the blue area turned blue as well and there you could also not hear anything.
So apparently, once the audio track is shown in blue color, the audio is somehow unabled.
We fixed the problem by just opening a new project and importing everything from the beginning. Then we had no problems, but we would still like to know why this error happened.
Thank you very much in advance.
I appreciate your help,
Matze
Hello folks, I have a few sub clips, is there a way (other than dragging) that i can select the sub clip in my bin and add it to my timeline?
So I import a video of some 1080p60fps gameplay footage and after some time the audio and video gets out of sync. Also, when watching the video outside of premiere.

Sorry if this is a dumb question, but how do I shift the anchor point for rectangles in Titler? Seems like should be a simple enough thing to do.
So, I'm working on a super small, seriously not-intensive project that consists of a single music track and a pile of 1080p clips that I'm cutting up to run along with the music. The problem I'm having is, I hit Space to playback the current edit (all clips are either Green or yellow) and after a second or two it starts playing back super choppy. Hitting space to pause and then again to resume playback and it once again plays fine, for a second or two, then becomes choppy again.
It's actually been like this for over a dozen projects but I've just dealt with it.
In that time I've also switched from an AMD video card to an NVidia with no change in behavior. I've gone through at least one update to Premier.
So, how do I fix this? I imagine this isn't standard behavior.
Thanks.
I'm on Windows 10, 16 gigs ram, Intel i3 and the latest version of Premier.
Hi Guys
Hoping you can help me something.

I want to make videos like the one above and whilst I am expert level with PS & AI video editing is new to me. I just wanted to ask for this type of video would you use Premier Pro or After Effects or a mix of both?
Thanks
If I time-remap a clip on the timeline via the Speed/Duration function then double-click that clip to load it into the source monitor, the portion of the clip played between my defined in/out points is wrong. The in/out points displayed in the source monitor are correct - it's just miscalculating what portion of the clip corresponds to those points. This happens for both increasing or decreasing the speed of the clip.
Any ideas on how to get the source monitor to show the correct footage? I realize it wont be able to reflect the speed change in the playback but it would still be nice for it to show the correct footage.
hi guys, just a quick question,
tommorrow im filming a dance show and am planning to edit using premieres multicam feature. I will have one continuous camera, recording the full show, alongside three additional cameras which are limited to filming in 20 minute segments. Will the audio matching of premieres multicam allow me to have one continuous camera with several other cameras cutting in and out at different points using only one sequence.
need some answers!!!
thanks,

Hi everyone.
I have opened my premiere pro cs6 project this morning to edit my documentary and it took about 20 mins to load and locate media. After it loaded and opened the project, I now see a text saying "Items to Index 1". Firstly, what does this mean and why is it not doing anything? Since this has been up, I am missing an entire sequence. This is so frustrating. Please Help guys. any answerers are accepted. Thanks, Jedd Manning.
In celebration of Premiere Pro’s 25th anniversary Adobe is partnering with Grammy-award-winning Imagine Dragons to provide an amazing opportunity for up-and-coming and aspiring video professionals, as well as those in other creative disciplines who’ve been waiting for the right moment to give video editing a try.
Through the “Make the Cut” editing contest, Adobe is making raw footage from the music video for Imagine Dragons new hit song “Believer” available to the community to edit their own version of the video, for a chance to win US $25K dollars and other awards and prizes.

I've searched on the web & gotten a few answers, but nothing seems to solve the situation.
What I've tried.
1920x1080p MPEG2, Quality 5, Min, Target, Max All Set To 60. Came out looking like crap when it was put on a dvd. Noisy, over contrasted (could be the tv), over colored (could be the tv).
720x480 MPEG2-DVD, Quality 5, Min, Target, Max All Set To 9. Came out looking worse then my previous attempt.
Anyone have a secret formula for HDV to DVD conversion?

Hi everybody,
Recently we switched from a Mac Pro (Late 2013) to a Windows PC.
Here are our specs:
Asus X99-A II
Intel Core i7-6900K
Asus GTX 1080 STRIX GAMING NVIDIA 8GB D5X
64 GB Corsair D432GB 2400-16
Unfortunately everytime we want to render our sequence in Premiere we get the following GPU render error
We tried rendering the sequence in 1080p or 4K.
Different formats like H264 and Quicktime. CBR, VBR 1, VBR 2, nothing really helps.
We literally tried everything.
The weird thing about this GPU error is that the point of failure is always somewhere else.
The footage we are editing is from our RED Epic-W mostly shot in 6K or 8K RAW.
Our composition is 3840 x 2160.
We used different dynaminc links between PR and AE, some with the RSMB plugin.
Setting RSMB to render by CPU instead of GPU doesn't help either.
We can render the sequence in three different parts and then combine them together.
But thats a big waste of time.
I can't imagine that one of the most popular graphic cards is not supported by Adobe.
We've run a few benchmarks to stress the GPU (FurMarck, Valley Benchmark, etc).
The GPU usage was 100% for a few hours, it stayed very cool at 57° and didn't fail at all.
Does somebody have the same problem? Any idea how can we solve this?
Thanks in advance.

Can someone tell me why I can get great video motion from i movie and yet with premiere some of my frames stick and stall?
When I'm in the effects panel and click the "Go to next keyframe" arrow, the CTI within the panel will move to the keyframe. However if that next keyframe is beyond the end of what's currently visible in the source window's timeline then I have to manually scroll to make the CTI visible. Is there a way to either have the source window automatically scroll to the CTI after its moved during a "Go to next keyframe" arrow? Or failing that, is there a way/shortcut to scroll the window to the current CTI?
For example, let's say I have a 10 second clip in the source window and I'm currently magnified so that only the first two seconds of clip is visible in the source window's timeline. I have three keyframes; one at second #0, second #1, and second #8 into my clip. When I click "Go to next keyframe" it'll move the CTI to keyframe at second #1, and the CTI is still visible within the source window. So far so good. If I click "Go to next keyframe" again, the CTI will move to the keyframe at second #8, but the source window still only shows the first two seconds of my clip in the timeline. I'd like it to automatically scroll so that the CTI is visible again (ie, scroll the source window to second #8 into my clip).
I've got a huge project with endless clips inside endless bins which, in turn, are inside endless bins. I often use Reveal in Project or Find to track down where a given clip comes from. When I do, Premiere nicely opens the bin the clip is in, as I would like. However, it also reveals the clip in the project window. If the clip is five bins deep, it opens folder upon folder times 5 in that window so, before I know it, I've got everything in my project window revealed and it's a mess.
So, finally, my questions. 1. Is there a way to stop this behavior and/or 2. Is there a quick way to close all the folders in the project window without actually closing whatever bins I have open?

Hello
The timeline vertical scrolling doesn't work very well. When I hover the mouse on the video timeline sometimes the vertical scrolling works, sometimes the audio timeline scroll vertically but not the video (while the mouse hovers the video) and vice versa and sometimes no scrolling happens at all.
Working without scrolling is impossible, so what can i do?
Thank you very much
Pierre
I purchased a camera from Costco for my car and the files are in AVI format. When I try to import them the program says no video or sound file exists.
So I just randomly started getting this issue on my latest wedding edit. Whenever I go to pause or play the timeline with the space bar, there is about a 10 second delay to my command. This is a huge issue for me since I am cutting to music. I try and pause it on the beat and premiere doesn't answer my command until about 12 frames later. It's slowing me down immensely and I don't know what happened between yesterday when I started the project and right now. Anyone have any advice?
