Hi there. I just installed Premiere Pro 2015.3 and am getting an error I wasn't getting with the prior version. When I start the program I get this:
"Unable to load third-party audio plug-ins. Premiere Pro is unable to access your Preferences folder. Your user account may not have access rights, or the folder may have been set to Read Only. Please check your permissions and try again."
The program then opens, but the 'ok' button in the preference window doesn't work. It isn't grayed out or anything- I click it and there's no response. To leave the preference window I have to click cancel. I assume this is due to the preference folder error.
I'm logged in as an admin user, and to try to fix the situation I've manually reset the permissions to the folders in ~/library/application support/adobe/premiere pro and documents/adobe/premiere pro (i have no folder in ~/library/preferences labeled adobe) to be read & write for all users. Nothing changed. Then I used the alt+shift trick while opening the program. Nada. I've uninstalled and reinstalled the program to no effect. Does anyone have any ideas?
I'm on a late 2013 Mac Pro running Yosemite 10.10.4.
