How to fix The Application was unable to start correctly (0xc0000142)
Premiere was working fine until I did the most recent update today. After update I clicked on the Premiere shortcut and got the The application was unable to start correctly (0xc0000142). So I uninstalled and reinstalled and got it again. Used the adobe clean tool and still got it. Wiped my computer and did a fresh install downloaded creative cloud and installed Premiere again and still got the error. Anyone had this issue with the new update?

Considering Premier Pro CC and Encore
Hi,
I am thinking of purchasing Premier Pro CC but really need to be able to have Encore as well as I have clients that still require DVD and also Blu-Ray Discs. Can any one help me with being able to get that too please.
The only way I've seen of doing so via the downloading of selecting CS6 first doesn't appear to be available to me.

i migrated to windows 10, when I try to open Premier Pro I get a windows error message "The application was unable to start correctly (0xc0000142). Click OK to close application". I uninstall premier and re-installed it and still have the same problem. Does any body have an answer to this problem?

Can you help resolve "The application was unable to start correctly" issue?
After updating Adobe After Effects CC and Adobe Premiere Pro CC, via the create cloud update, I get the following error message when starting the programs.
"Application Error" box
"The application was unable to start correctly (0xc0000142). Click OK to close the application."
I had several programs that I updated (Adobe Audition, Adobe PhotoShop, etc) , at once. None of the other programs seems to have problems starting.
I have uninstalled Adobe After Effects CC and Adobe Premiere Pro CC and have the same results, aka, error notice, after re-installing.
I have done searches and do not seem to have found a definitive solution to the problem.
- Can you please help me resolve this issue. If you have come across this issue and successfully resolved it your input is especially helpful.
- Can you suggest ways to avoid this, or similar, issues in the future. This makes me feel very reluctant to update any of my CC software if i'm going to experience hours/days/weeks of delay due to having to troubleshoot issues.

Windows 10 Premier Pro keeps crashing when I try to run it. I am getting the following error "The application was unable to start correctly (0xc0000142). Click OK to close application".
I recently had to create a new disk drive and install full version of Windows 10. I can get all my Creative Cloud apps to install, but Premier Pro keeps crashing when I try to run it. I am getting the following error "The application was unable to start correctly (0xc0000142). Click OK to close application". I have reinstalled, reformatted drive an reinstalled Windows 10 from scratch and I still get this error. Has anyone seen this one? My configuration is below:

Premiere Pro CC: can blue text interface be changed back to yellow?
Just wondering if there's an option in preferences to change the color of the interface text. It used to be yellow and now it's more difficult to see.
I notice the blue text across the entire range of updated programs: AE, PP, Photoshop, etc.
So is it a setting in the cloud itself that would allow me to change the color back to yellow?
If not, not big issue, I'll just have to get used to it. Love the new interface in any case. Much more responsive with no issues.

Adobe Premiere jittery / choppy export quality
We have been editing GoPro Hero 4 Session videos in Adobe Premiere and want to be able to export the final edits in 1080p, 60frames/second format.
However when we do this the export takes an incredibly long time and the end result is very poor quality – very jittery.
We have viewed a YouTube tutorial on this issue (it must be an ongoing problem with Adobe Premiere) and used all the settings shown, but still with no luck. Can anyone please advise on the correct settings? NB we aren't super advanced users!

Premiere Pro CC 2015 gets "application unable to start correctly (0xc0000142) error.
Premiere Pro CC 2014 works fine. PP 2015 for a while had the "can't find capable video play modules" before latest update install. Graphics card is a NVida Quadro 2000D, 64bit system, Windows 10.
Most other cc 2015 apps working fine (Prelude has same issue, I found). Suggestions? Have tried uninstall, roll-back, latest video drivers, etc.

Why does my Première Pro malfunction since updating to CC 2015? (0xc0000142)
Hi,
Yesterday, I updated my CC programs to the 2015 version. Everything seemed to go just fine and Première Pro worked after upgrading. Today however, I get an error while trying to start the program. It says: Can't start the application (not literally, but translated from Dutch) and 0xc0000142. Whatever I try, it won't start. The other programs seem to work just fine.
Has anyone got similar problems or an idea what the problem might be?

Every Time I try and start After Effects or Premiere Pro CC 2015 They come up with an error code that says "The Application was unable to start correctly (0xc0000142)." I Don't know what to do I have looked at of forums and reset my computer and uninstalled them multiple times any help?

I am getting this error now and Premire will not start. I uses the CC Cleaner tool and removed all apps and just download premire and installed it.
Same problem. Windows 10 update was done 2 weeks ago.

After the last update Premiere Pro, AE and Prelude doesn't work anymore. Code 0xc0000142
All other product run perfectly. Does somebody know, how I can fix that?

Premier Pro Wont Open
I've only just bought it and downloaded and installed it, but everytime I click on "open" from the Creative Cloud app it just does nothing. I try opening it from the direct file but it just comes up with an error message "The application was unable to start correctly (0xc0000142). Click OK to close the application".
I have already tried uninstalling and reinstalling, and also changing the compatibility settings, but it has proven futile.
Any suggestions?
