Please can someone tell me how to adjust solo/stereo and individual clips on the timeline. When I adjust an interview to mono sound, and delete the natural sound track, the natural sound tracks disappear from all the clips that have just that one track. I just want to be able to delete natural sound on one clip and not all of them.
When I had Adobe premiere 5 I used to do this in modify in the source panel but I don't understand how to do this in CC.

I want to take a previously edited Premiere sequence and put it into a still image of a retro TV screen. I have tried this using the transform effect, but a few things are going haywire. When I try masking the "placed" video with the pen tool, there seems to be an offset from the mask, as well as a scale down effect, so that when I scale it up to take up more of the frame to match the screen on the still image TV, the resolution seems course, cause I have to scale it up. Plus it seems to be trying to track, and I do not need the masking to track. Does anyone know of a tutorial that demonstrates these techniques? Thanks?

I tried to configure my Adobe Premiere Pro in Bilingual mode (En_US and Fr_CA). By the "Debug database" with the console interface of the Premiere Pro (Ctrl +F12),
those settings has been changed:
ApplicationLanguage to Fr_CA (It was En_US)
ApplicationLanguage to True (It was False)
I restart the Premiere Pro application and the application still running in english mode.?

I tried reinstalling the app, and restarting my computer. No luck. I get the error message, "The application was unable to start correctly (0xc0000142). Click OK to close the application." when I open the program from the windows start bar. When I try to launch the app from the creative cloud app (3.41.181) nothing happens.
I am on a Windows 10 desktop computer 64 bit OS
8 Gb of ram
ATI Radeon HD 5850 graphics card with lastest drivers (15.11.1) from AMD
AMD Phenom II x4 955 Processor 3.20 GHz
Premier Pro worked just fine yesterday, although I was no longer able to select the accelerate with GPU option when I started a new project.
Other Adobe apps like Lightroom and Audition open just fine.
What should my next course of action be?
NOTE: To solve this issue, update to Premiere Pro CC 2015 (9.2)

i know Adobe has not answered or released an update to fix this issue but i went ahead and took it upon myself to fix this (even if temporarily) until adobe decides to do it themselves.
It is actually easier than you think. The culprit is the file DNxHR.dll that Avid screwed since on version 2.1.0.9 of the library the forgot about processors that do not support SSE 3.1. Adobe figured it out and released an update for After Effects that includes an updated library that fixes the problem (version 2.2.2.22). All i did was:
1. Rename the file DNxHR.dll inside Premiere Pro folder to something like DNxHR.bak
2. Copy the updated DNxHR.dll from the updated After Effects (13.6.1) into Premiere Pro's folder
That's it! Premiere Pro 9.1.0 working on AMD

When I drag my audio file from the Project window into the Sequence, it loads up as the full length of the file, but there is no audio. I expand the A1 row that it is in and there is a straight line indicating no waveform. I then double click the audio file to pull it up in the source window and it shows it as having no waveform there either. Then I go to the file on my desktop and make sure there is actually a viable audio file there, and it plays fine in iTunes or if i upload it into Adobe Audition. I then proceed to wait anywhere between 5 - 20 minutes before the waveform actually appears in the Pr Sequence. I would say that maybe it is my computer, but I'm working on the same computer I have had for the past year and this problem arose only in the past 2 months or so. It doesn't matter if I upload an MP3 or a WAV file into Premiere Pro, they both do the same thing.

I loved using the Dynamic Link workflow for the first time on 2 big projects but now I'm trying to "collect all and save" so we can get this off our server and backed up to tape and can't seem to work through a big problem. The issue is, once Premiere merges my clips into an AE comp on the timeline, it loses track of the location of the footage when I test it (trying to open it on another computer). The footage was on an external drive in our edit bay as I worked on the project and I want to include it in the collected files. If we HAD to I suppose we could make a note that this drive with the footage must be connected to re-open the project if the client returns a few years from now with revisions.. but that's not how ANY of our other projects work. Can anyone tell me if it's just not possible to do an ALL INCLUSIVE asset collection with Dynamic Link using Premiere's Project Manager?

Just updated premiere, and i have no audio. I have a news story due in just a few short hours. PLEASE HELP!
So, on my newly reformatted media drive I have approximately 10 hours from a two day motivational speech footage from a Newtek Tricaster.
All footage has been split up into approximately 15 separate speakers (Timelines and separate Sequences) respectively.
From the beginning everything is ok and dandy, but as i continue to work on each consecutive sequence,
(ie: rubber-banding the audio slightly here & there, adding fade in & outs, adding a graphical jpg. bug throughout each sequence, etc... (Nothing Real Advanced Nor Complicated, and only two audio tracks).
Upon scrubbing, Premiere is slowly getting glitching, lagging and locking up.
Audio plays fine, but I have to place my curser at a new point to view and wait up to 5 seconds for the computer to catch up and play that frame I'm now on.
- closing & reopening Premiere doesn't help.
- re-booting the computer doesn't help
- cleaning up my cache' (by method of clear cache through Premiere options) doesn't help.
- task manager says: - a. cpu average is 15% with an occasional peg at 30%.
- b. ram is averaging 43%
None of this makes any sense. Computer's happy and program isn't crashing... Just progressively slowing to an almost halt as I continue to edit my 'longer footage' projects.
Any thoughts is much appreciated.
We recently upgraded from Windows 7 to Windows 10 (clean install), added two SSD drives (one as a system drive, one for Adobe cache, etc.), and the system has a 10TB RAID for media. The system is a dual proc Xeon machine. We also upgraded from the Quatro 4000 to the M5000 (properly connected and supplied with the additional power required, latest drivers installed). The problem is that I notice no difference in the slugish performance I see in Premiere and in rendering. I've attached a screen capture that shows almost no GPU usage and the render of a 24 second clip taking nearly an hour with long gaps between frames in which the computer seems to do nothing. And why is CPU utilization so hight? There are a few effects applied to the footage, mainly MagicBullet Denoiser II as well as some Grad filters. Raw footage is BMCC DNG image sequence. I understand that Denoiser II is slow, but I'm not understanding why it is so slow on such an expensive system and why the graphics card spends most of its time doing nothing. I've even closed all other applications and told the nvidia control panel to set power use to prefer maximum performance. Any advice would be appreciated.

This issue came up a while ago (7.1 I believe - here is the thread: Noisy Transitions).
The "fix" was an upgrade. However, I am on 9.1 now and this identical problem is occurring.
i.e - A completely sporadic and unpredictable very nasty audio buzz on fades.
It is happening on 2 different machines - a Mac Pro (3.7 GHz Quad-Core Intel Xeon E5) and a
newish iMac (not sure of the specs).
It never happened to me before - even on this same project - until quite recently.
It does not always happen on the same fades. It occurs on playback and on export. It seems to
only happen with fades on WAV files.
If I cannot trust exports from Premiere, I can not use Premiere as a professional platform.
Please let me know if anyone else has encountered this with the latest update and if there is
any fix.

I've imported my captions as an SRT. When I export them via the export media menu I get:

so no subtitles in it (it should be about 500 of them!).
If I export in another format such as Spruce stl it works.
Any idea why this is the case?

Been working with PP CC since it came out and have had almost no problems. Now I have a head scratcher. I can't drag a video clip from the project panel to the sequence. The audio comes but the video won't. All I get is the close hand with a line through it when I hover over any of the video tracks. The clips play fine in the source monitor but still cant drag it from source to sequence either. Tried this with clips from several projects and cameras but no go. Started a new project, different name, folder and footage, still have the problem.

Now constant power audio cross fade is creating buzzing sound on project from same sequence created in previous version of premiere 9.0.
Also occurs when I draw a fade with keyframe tool.
Any thoughts?

Adobe crashes when I turn on the multi-camera monitor (program). The error code is 0x00000004. A lot of people are talking about the problems with the new version 9.1.0 and the AMD graphics cards (error 0xc0000142). Here is the thing, my computer is running on AMD on Yosemite.
Any solutions ?

Application will not open, none of my adobe applications will open. Please help. Can I uninstall the program and reinstall without having to pay again?
I have installed Premiere Pro 2015 CC on a new installation of windows 10 64 bit. When I attempt to open it, I get message that the application could not be started-(0xc0000142). It runs fine on my Windows 7 64 bit computer. Setting Compatibility Mode to Windows 7 made no difference.
I have uninstalled,reinstalled, downloaded and installed again. I get the same result each time.

I have a CC membership and have just installed Premier pro from the CC interface.
I get the message Application was unable to start correctly (0xc0000142). Click to close application.
I have tried re booting also deinstalling and re installing, but this has no effect.
After effects runs OK as do the other CC programs.
Do you have any ideas how I can solve this please?
