Mismatch Warning Box ( I NEED YOU)

The pop up box that appears when a clip placed on the timeline doesn't match the sequence settings no longer appears on my computer due to personal error. Now I am trying to use the warp stabilizer and can't because I am getting a red line across my footage saying that warp stabilizer requires clip dimentions to match sequence. I believe that my problem could be solved if I could just get that pop up window to appear again.

 

Notes:

1) I have held the option key while starting Premiere Pro.

2) I am also using a mac and when I put a sd card into the drive the folder containing the videos is a quicktime folder labeled private. I have to hold option and click show package contents until I get to the raw MTS files which I import.

How to address stutter and jerk in playback

I'm running Windows 7 in a VMWare virtual machine with a Linux host.

 

I was happy with Premiere running just fine with VMWare 11 and Mint as the host.  But with VMWare 12 and OpenSUSE, it's getting the timing wrong.  I've looked at memory and everything, and it's not struggling.  It even goes too fast which is not a sign of dropped frames at all, but a sign that the timing is messed up.  I've gone through the usual treatments for jerky playback and this is not the same kind of problem.  I have boatloads of CPU power, have pre-rendered the clip and have scratch files on a SSD.

 

The problem is limited to Adobe CC apps, not multimedia playback in general.

 

Is there something concerning the manner in which multimedia timing is done in these apps that can be specifically tested?

Did the latest update to CC 2015 change something in this respect?

Premiere Pro CC crash on export of timeline for documentary

Hi,

 

We are making a 100 minute documentary and we are having difficulty exporting a timeline.  It crashes at 60% continuously.

 

Things we tried to do to fix and it still crashes:

1) We went to the 60% point in the timeline and removed the scene there - it still crashed

2) we checked all the files to make sure they were pro res

2) we did a clean uninstall of premiere and re-install

3) We deleted the preview files

4) We deleted the render files

5) We copied and pasted the clips into a new timeline (e.g.: Not a duplicated timeline)

6) I cleaned the cash

7) I turned off the mercury engine

8) I trashed the preferences by holding keys down upon launch

 

 

The only work around we found was to export the first half of the film and the second half.  THEN create a new timeline and put the two halves together and export that.

 

Any ideas on what is happening?

Consolidate and Transcode in Cineform workflow: A great feature... if it worked properly .

Hello,

So my company recently acquired 17 licences of Creative Cloud teams, we were all very excited for the new 2014 features and capabilities of Premiere Pro CC and the new cineform codec workflow, plus all the connection between video apps on Cc..

Although it doesn't seem the most important feature, for us, the Project Manager on the presented cineform option of Consolidate and Transcode is a Big Deal for updating and preparing for archive older projects.

But the thing does not work, and its warnings and results are anything but clear or functional.

 

Example 1:

A full HD project 1920*1080 progressive 25pfs, mixed footage of apple ProRes and Quicktime Animation. Go to consolidade and transcode > sequence > quicktime > match source goPro Cineform :: FAILS..

Example 2:

Full HD project 1920*1080 progressive, mixed footage of Quicktime H264 (full hd) and RED 5120*2700, fails.. same error...

 

Example 3:

Full HD project, mixed footage 1920*1080, progressive jpeg sequence + MFX with fields.. fails.. same error..

 

IF INSTEAD of choosing "match sequence" i choose "match individual clips" sometimes it works partially but some MXF´s are not converted (premiere does not say why on the Events panel) and those are copied in all the original format. It does not makes much sense.

 

Now i can go on and on.. giving more examples.. Trent Happel, on a similar post here, explained that this error appears because the selected Format (my case Cineform) does not support the combination of frame size, frame rate and field combination.. Wish is ridiculous because its failing transcoding, standard full HD resolution, with or without fields, or experimented different fps and quicktime´s, MFX´s , Red´s or even sequences..

EVEN when i create a preset (based on cineform or any other) most of the time it fails.. and if a transcode a individual clip (that Premiere Manager was failing on examples described above) in its own solo sequence timeline (just that single individual clip), ironically it gives no error.. so what the heck is happening??


So now.. the company is really happy.. happy they are on the 30 day full refund period, for 17 licences bought based on a workflow adobe promotes, but fails consistently on real world application.


Help if possible is appreciated

Premiere CC crashing after single editing event on new timeline

I am running Premiere 2015CC, latest revision and it is totally unstable. This PC has been running Premiere since CC 2104.

Here are my system specs:

Motherboard ASUS X99-Deluxe

Intel CPU Core i7-5960X 8-Core 3.0GHZ

Memory Crucial DDR4 2133 64GB

System drive Samsung XP941 M.2 512GB (SSD)

4K SDI BlackMagic Decklink 4K Extreme

SDI out to Flanders Scientific BM230

Video Card Gigabyte GV-N970G1 GTX 970 w/4 GB

OS Wndows 8.1 Pro

Caches installed on seperate SSD's

Project Files on C: Drive (SSD)

Media Files on 12TB Raid

 

Here is my Event Viewer from Windows:

The timeline consists of a narration track (.wav) that has been normalized  to -0.1db via Adobe Audition. Other B-Roll audio from P2 Cameras and P2 Footage.

Can't bring up vectorscope in reference monitor

I'm trying to color correct and need to use the y waveform and vectorscope for reference. The only place I've been told I can bring it up is in the reference monitor, which I have no trouble bringing up. But when I do bring it up and go to the wrench button for settings to change the monitor to show the vectorscope, instead of the handful of color correction scopes that I should be allowed to select from, I just get "Composite Video" and "Alpha." I'm in the Color workspace and have a clip selected with the "Three Way Color Corrector" effect applied. What am I doing wrong here? I'm on the Adobe Premier Pro 9.0.0 build, which I assume is the most recent one. Has it been updated to work differently or something?

Hello !

I have a little problem  i wanna downloading PPCS6 at : Download Adobe CS6 Trials: Direct Links (no Assistant or Manager) | ProDesignTools (  i take this link on the forum for  " Trial PPCS6 ") 

  but all the link for windows give me a white page with nothing inside  just a different Html code on the top so...

it's possible to have an other link ? or  direct download ? or .exe ?

I made a magazine in Indesign and i would like to scroll through the magazine for my presentation. I don't have Cinema 4d and i heard that i can also animate a page turn in premire pro, but how? I'm completly new into pp.

Color correction in Premiere with Lumetri on Raw DNG sequence not working...any suggestions?

I've just updated to CC 2015 but color correction on Raw DNG sequence doesn't treat files as Raw but like regular 8-bit, I don't get any detail recovery from highlights,...any suggestions?

In this video looks like it is possible, I did the same procedure with same camera (blackmagic pocket) but still doesn't work Premiere Pro CC 2015 vs Blackmagic RAW - YouTube

I have a MacBook Pro (Retina, 15-inch, Early 2013) with OS X Yosemite 10.10.3

Premiere Pro CC 2015 Internet Connection

Does this require a stable and good connection?

 

When I installed, which took a day, I had lots of issues, it also said various elements failed, and it appeared that Adobe was trying to roll back some of my already installed software to earlier versions!

 

When I start up, I have to wait a very long time, and my bandwidth is hogged.  Then I get lots of faces of dogs, some "can't connect to cloud" messages, and various other errors.

 

I don't like apps that install and get controlled by other apps, I fear this "CC" app is going to eat all my bandwidth, do things I don't want to do, and watch me whilst I do it!

 

So far not having much joy with even getting started with this, as my connection is nothing short of diabolical.

 

I found that Pre Elements 11 was almost useless as a hobbiest who creates only 2 or 3 videos a year for local groups.  So I upgraded to Pro (without any discount), and now that doesn't even want to run...  not best pleased.

 

Is it possible to do a nice clean offline install?

I've added a few Cross Dissolve video transitions by dragging them to my clips on my timeline.  But now I go to add them to other clips (even to the other end of a clip that already has one) and I see the "circle with line through it" icon next to my "hand" icon each time I try to grab an effect.  So nothing is grabbed and nothing can be moved.

 

I tried deleting a few Cross Dissolves and I could do that, but could not add them back.

 

Ideas on how to solve?

when im working on video's and i bring a file over to the sequence the video file shows up but the audio track is completely missing, even when i try to drag the audio only it just doesnt wanna work

can anyone help? i use premiere pro for my education and i get homework where i need to edit and shoot video's

I would like to use Premiere Pro to offline a 4K project but it that is not possible until Adobe provides a media link tool. Is there a third party plug in I can use to achieve this?

ProRes Timecode from Pix 240 started at 0 in Premiere Pro CC 2015

So I have a Pix240i that I use to record Quicktime ProRes on.  When I open the Cllips in Premiere Pro CC 2014, everything works as it should.  Timecode reads properly.  When I open the clips in Premiere Pro CC 2015, all of the clips start at 00:00:00:00 instead of what they were recorded at.  I made sure the Timecode Preference is set to 'Use Media Source'.  I see in the forums people have had issues with this in the past.  Sounds like a bug.  Is Adobe working on a fix?
