PPro 2015 audio track won't mute
Premiere Pro 2015 - audio tracks won't mute. When I click on M for Mute, then press Play, the M highlight goes off and the audio is not muted. Help please, I need to finish a short video and muting selected tracks while I am editing really helps me get things done.

de-activate boot drive programs?
I'm getting some warning messages from my boot drive. But before I bring it to the shop to get it replaced, do I first need to de-activate all my older Adobe programs (CS 4, etc) on this machine?
I'm currently running most of these on two computers, so I always have a safety net. These are programs like Premiere, After EFX, Photoshop, Audition, etc.
I'm concerned about replacing a boot drive. If the repair shop can clone the programs from the boot drive to a new boot drive, is this going to look like installing these on a third machine?

Playhead stuck, unresponsive
Hey there.
This is happening way too often since updating to CC 2015. I start playback on a sequence and then the playhead freezes in time. I try to stop it (using space bar) and it's only after I hit it a couple of times that it becomes responsive again. Any idea what I can change to make this run smoother? Running a Mac Pro 4.1 with 24GB RAM and dual monitors.

keyboard shortcuts in bins
I am doing a feature film and have to compare performances from multiple takes. I prefer looking at clips in bins rather than the source window because I can quickly jump from one clip to another and compare a specific line reading to another, rather than double clicking and watching in the source window. I have set up many keyboard shortcuts that work fine in the source window, but the only ones that work in the bin are JKL and the space bar. I would love, for example, to have the ability to add markers or hit "play in to out."

wrong lighting
What is the best approach to correcting video of internal office space where I have the lighting wrong (or lack of correct lighting)?
It has people talking in the video & its a little dark.
Im new to all of this so Im not sure wether to use (go off & research) Premiere Pro, Speedgrade of After Effects.

How to disable timeline scrolling to follow cursor?
Hi. Is there a way to disable this? For example if my cursor is anywhere on the right side of the monitor (even in the record monitor) the timeline will scroll to the right. Running Premiere Pro 2015 on a trash can Mac Pro (os 10.10.3, 3GHz 8-core, 32GB RAM). Please tell me this can be disabled. Thanks!

Why is the audio option not showing on merge clips?
On Adobe Premiere Pro CC (up to date, running OSX 10.8.5), when I select an audio clip and a .mov clip and attempt to use the audio sync seen in several tutorials, that option is not available. I only see in points, out points, time code and clip marker for syncronize points. Are there only certain file types that can be synced this way or is there a setting I'm missing?

Exporting merged clip audio for mix in Pro Tools
Hi,
I am trying to figure out a way to export audio for the sound mix on a pro tools.
The footage was shot with off-camera audio and the video/audio was put into a merged clip using the waveform sync feature. The merged clips were then rename for the editor so that it made more sense for him ie shot1 take 01 etc
Now the picture is locked exporting an OMF creates new audio files with random naming convention and the new clip name is retained. There is no way for the sound mixer to reference the original audio wav file as the source metadata seems to be overwritten on export. Same issue with AAF.
If i export an EDL the source timecodes are in samples which causes other issues if you try to use something like Titan4 to create a pro tools session. But the EDL does have the correct clip name information so the merged clips must be reading it.
How can you export audio from Premiere CC 2014 so that the audio guys using pro tools can either reconform to original audio files and/or reference the original audio file?

Premiere Pro CC 2015 Memory Leak
Did the upgrade to CC 2015.
I've had my iMac freeze up numerous times with the "Out of Memory" warning and PPro is the culprit using massive amounts. Currently I'm looking at it, sitting idle with a relatively small project (23min series episode, 827KB project file) and the memory usage has jumped from about 2GB to 35GB (25.19GB Compressed Memory).
I did the upgrade on my backup mac. I have just wrapped actual paying gigs and have time to test out the new version during some down time. So... I've got about 3 weeks to figure things out before the clients get back in. I'm a huge fan of the Lumetri integration. That's the biggest addition to my workflow and I want to use it with client based projects, but the system needs to be running smooth. And the memory issue is the opposite of smooth.
I've optimized my memory settings to use only 26GB for PPro (which i guess it's doing if you go by the Compressed Memory its using). Scratch disks are set to "Same As Project..." which are located off the main HD.
I attempted the trick of turning off the auto save function (which is the worst trick to use... autosave will save actual insanity). Turning it off did nothing to relieve the memory leak so it's back on as it should be.

I do notice that the Adobe QT32 Server constantly sits as "Not Responding" and there is always at least 2 instances of it running (which confuses me).
I'm not sure if other info is needed.

Problem when opening Pr 2015 project (converted from 2014) that contains AE 2014 composition
Hi all.
I have just recently finished a Premiere Pro CC 2014 project that contained an After Effects 2014 composition. I exported the media in DVD quality (and authored the DVD within nCOR) without issue, however when I went to export it to create a HD Blu-ray quality file it rendered the project showing the short two-second AE comp as 'missing media', meaning I couldn't author the Blu-ray disc.
I then upgraded my CC from 2014 to 2015 after searching for solutions to nCOR issues opening BR/m2t files (wouldn't read file) it was recommended to update to Pr/AME/Ae 2015. I went to open the original Pr 2014 project in the Pr 2015 update, and was prompted to 'convert it' to the new 2015 format (and did so). When the conversion was completed and I opened the project, the linked AE composition showed a broken link (would not let me locate and select the AE comp file) to re-link it, and when trying to scrub the timeline over the AE comp within Pr, or attempt to render the sequence, I get a "Adobe After Effects CC 2015.0 has stopped working" error requiring AE to be closed.
I then opened the AE 2014 composition within AE 2015 and re-saved the file in the new version, but all the tracking effects I had created have changed, meaning the effects don't match what I created within 2014 (will take a whole day to re-do all the effects within Ae 2015, which is time I don't have at the moment)
Any suggestions on what I can do, as I really need to export the file in Bluray quality and author the BR disc...

Playback and audio issues, crashes, and other bugginess in Premiere Pro CC 2015
I've been using Premiere Pro CC 2015 since its release and found it to be by far the buggiest, most unreliable, and practically unusable program I've ever worked with. It's hard to believe none of these problems cropped up in Adobe's beta testing. Reverting to Premiere 2014 is not an option; far too much work done on this project already, plus PPCC 2014, though not nearly as problematic as PPCC 2015, did not work great for me either, and I upgraded to the new version hoping the 2014 issues would be solved.
Here are the numerous issues I have experienced with this frustrating release:
Audio playback issues everyone else has been reporting (out of sync errors, overload errors). See screen grab below.
Sluggish playback overall, even with quality set to 1/2. This is especially true when video clips are stacked on top of one another. Even when every clip that needs rendering is rendered, playback smoothness is inconsistent.
Unresponsive controls (after starting playback of a sequence in timeline, program monitor will freeze on a frame while audio continues playing, keyboard commands stop responding, can't stop playback, cursor becomes spinning beach ball). The only occasionally effective remedy I've found for this is to immediately click at the top of the sequence timeline once it becomes apparent this problem is occurring, and sometimes, the playback will stop and keyboard controls will become responsive again).
Corrupted clips (one clip imported into project from media browser now only shows a green frame when opened in source monitor). See screen grab below.
Crashes; program randomly stops responding, either with black frames or frozen frames in program monitor (even though playhead is on a clip in the timeline), and I am forced to quit and reopen Premiere to regain control. This happens at least 3 times a day.
Random "pending media" messages in either program or source monitors when trying to open clips or switch sequence tabs in timeline. Sometimes requires restarting the program.
My system specs are as follows:

2.5. GHz Intel Core i7
8 GB 1333 MHz DDR3
AMD Radeon HD 6779M 1024 MB
OS 10.9.3
Approx. 24 GB hard drive space free
Audio playback report:
Green frame in source monitor; previously working clip would yield only this when opened, necessitating a re-import.
Edited to add the following screen grab of another green frame from a clip in the timeline, a clip that kept glitching in the timeline, and then started exhibiting these green frames. Source clip is still fine. Seriously, what is going on with this program?

After upgrade to Premier Pro CC 2015 video will not play in source or in a sequence.
On a Mac Pro (Early 2009), Yosemite 10.10.4, 2.66 GHz Quad-Core Intel Xeon, 16 GB 1066 MHz DDR3 ECC memory, NVIDIA GeForce GT 120 512 MB graphic card using either the Apple Default Graphic Driver or the NVIDIA web driver (latest version), Quicktime 10.4 on the machine.
Ran fine with Premier Pro CC 2014. Nothing with CC 2015.
What am I doing wrong?

I want to make a title grow in size and shrink back down
I figured I could do this little effect by manipulating the scale, in video effects. But when I increase or decrease the value, the title itself flies either up or down, albeit the grow/shrink effect happens but with the title being placed high up on my sequence it flies out of the shot! Can anyone help me??

When i open a project it is conforming the files each time?
I am using CC2014 and in the last day all of a sudden everytime i open a project it is conforming all the videos each time which can take some time.
And then when i export to the que in Media encoder it conforms it again
It never did this before
Also when it gets done the audio and video are out of sync
Not sure what might be happening...any ideas?

C300 was not in correct folder structure. But now it is. Still doesn't import properly with Media Browser.
I received C300 footage from DP without the CONTENTS or CLIPS001 folders. So I made new folders with that name and put the footage into the correct folder structure for importing C300 footage using media browser. I have done this before and it has worked. However not this time. Any suggestions?
