Why does Default Still text flash after export?

I have a problem with my text layers and some fade in and outs and crossfades.

 

Instead of being smooth transitions fades often appear as jittery flashy transitions. And still text layers that don't even move or have any transitions have the exact same effect, just a jittery flashy on/off effect.

 

I've tried exporting from Media Encoder and from Premiere directly. I've used the same setting twice just to check if it was the preset I was using, as well as using different presets and changing bit rates and other things.

 

I just cant workout what is causing it.

 

The underlay footage is just Canon DSLR 1080 25p

Machine is a hp, 3.50Ghz 16GB Ram.

Working off a portable hard drive Seagate 2TB, cant find the rpm. that might mean it's low?

 

Does anyone have any idea what this issue could be?

Adobe Premiere Pro CC 2015.0 has stopped working

Every time I launch Premier Pro, I immediately get the message "Adobe Premiere Pro CC 2015.0 has stopped working", forcing me to close the program (see images below). It only appears to happen with Premier---all other programs work fine.

 

My system specs are:

 

Dell XPS 8700

Operating system: Windows 8.1

Processor: Intel(R) Core(TM) i5-4460 CPU @ 3.20GHz 3.20 GHz

System Type: 64-bit, x64

GPU: NVIDIA GeForce GT 720

OMF: Insufficient Media for this Clip. WTH does this mean???

I am trying to export an OMF from Premiere Pro CC, whatever the latest interation is. When exporting the OMF with trimmed audio selected, I consistently get the following popup:

 

Insufficient Source Media for this clip!

Event Media length is not equal to Actual Media length!

    /Volumes/xxxx/MEDIA/EXPORTS/For_AUDIO/WB_SFX 11-04-13/Audio Files/14c9a54c-5181-497e-9f55-67969598ea8e.11.aif

 

The offset into the source file is 0 samples.

The clip length is 259459 samples.

That means we need 259459 samples in the source file.

The media length is 259200 samples.

The Reel name is:  "AX" 

Audio 1_L

14_Lizards.aif

00:00:37:01

 

I have no idea what this means and I have no idea how it affects the exported OMF. I also have no idea what "14c9a54c-5181-497e-9f55-67969598ea8e.11.aif" is. I can assure you I have NO audio clips with that name. I export the exact same media (using an FXP XML from Premiere) and the OMF comes out perfectly. So what is Premiere doing???? Very frightening. I don't do much audio so I can't really test the OMF to see what is happening. Does NOT inspire my confidence in Adobe.

Premiere Pro CC won't launch

Hi,

 

I recenly purchased CC and downloaded all the apps I use. Photoshop and After Effects work fine but when I open premiere, it gives me this error message every time and won't launch. - [/sirreact64/releases/2013.03/shared/adobe/MediaCore/ASL/Foundation/Make/Mac/../../Src/Di rectoryRegistry.cpp-283]

 

I assumed maybe it was because of how I'd delted my old version of premiere, so I decided to wipe my mac and set it up from scratch.

But after doing a complete clean install, I get the same error message.
Please help!
I need premiere asap and I have no idea how to fix it.

Cursor is inoperable

I am just starting out. I imported the clips started the sequence, but when I put the cursor in the audio or video tracks there is a big red slash through the middle and I can't vertically stretch the track. What do I need to do?

Extra bin when importing on Adobe Premiere CC. How do I get rid of it?

Hi all,

 

I know this question has probably been asked before, but I haven't see it on any threads.

 

When I import video/footage into a project it used to just import that file. Now, after cliking something that I forgot what it was, it imports under a sub bin.

 

Meaning, it still imports the footage but inside a bin.

 

This is annoying since I work with lots of footage and I have to go into folders to see them now.

Does this happen to you? Keyframe a fade-in on a clip and then you cannot preview your trims in CC 2015

Is this a bug? Or is it just me?

 

STEP#1 - Add a clip to a sequence and keyframe a FADE-IN.

STEP#2 - Drag the beginning OR the end of the clip in or out

 

Done.

 

RESULT: In CC 2015, for some reason you CANNOT see the edit change/adjust in the Program Monitor now as you move the clip in or out.

 

Is this a CC 2015 Bug? Wasn't in CC 2014. Do you have the same result?

 

MORE DETAILS:

We keyframe in lots of fades on our projects but I've found in CC 2015 (9.0.2) if you add a fade-IN at the start of the clip, then when you drag the beginning OR the end of the clip either way to EXTEND or SHORTEN the clip you suddenly CANNOT see the clip's preview in the Program Monitor. Normally any time you adjust the length of a clip by dragging the clip in or out, you see the edit point adjust in the preview monitor. But now in CC 2015, that's not the case. In fact, if you adjust your fade in to start at say 25% then when you extend or shorten the beginning or end of the clip, you then see the preview of that clip at only 25%. I'm guessing this is a bug. But it stinks. Just wanna see if others can replicate this issue as it was not present in previous versions of Premiere.

 

NOTE: Keyframing in a "fade out" does not affect a clip. Only a fade-in.

How to Switch back to v8.2?

One bug after another and I can't get any work done after installing Premiere Pro CC 2015. Some of the audio sounds completely corrupted, some audio echoes in other parts of the timeline, and I don't want to risk any damage to my project. Luckily I've saved several backups just in case, but this is a big project I've been working on for a while.

 

So I go back to the Adobe website to find that I can't download the previous version (2014).

 

How can I get 2014, specifically v8.2 back and 2015 off? Morph cut isn't worth this much trouble.

Portrait ( vertical) orientation...can't get out of

I shot my footage with a iPhone 5. When I loaded it up to premiere pro cs6, and place it in the timeline everything was fine except the position of the video was  portrait or vertical. I could not get it to go into landscape or horizontal. I looked on the internet and I found a suggestion to change the rotation in motion video effects. That changes the rotation of the video but it remains within a vertical frame. I am trying to get the video and the frame to rotate.  I also tried flipping it and it did not work. Any suggestions?

why is zooming on photos so complicated?

Adobe Premiere 6.5 was so much easier, good god. Talk about a difficult transition - no pun intended. I know there were  a couple versions after 6.5 but they're pretty close to the one that's out now.

 

I just don't get it. I have photos - no videos. The only way I can get some kind of zoom is to play around with the scale height and width... why do I have to? I can understand sometimes I might want to change that, but sometimes I just want to just zoom in and out.....

Cropped wrong.pngMy video is playing in this ratio and I don't know why. It's not Youtube's fault as it's showing up like that in VLC as well. Have I done something wrong in the way I exported it?

CC 2015 Major Memory Leak on PC - What's Up With That?

So I upgraded (I say that loosely) to Premiere Pro CC 2015, and have been editing my first 2 hour program on newly re-formatted media drives and about one hour into my edit I've started noticing a slow-down in the program. Now two hours into editing (nothing fancy just cutting and shortening with several dissolves and titles). Now I got a Microsoft Windows Error that states, -  -

"Close programs to prevent information loss - Your computer is low on memory. Save your files and close these programs: Adobe Premiere Pro CC 2015

Buzzing sound every few seconds when exporting videos split audio tracks?

After editing a new sequence to support multitrack audio and splitting the channels to assign them to each stream or track I export the video and get a split audio video that works and tests correctly but has a short buzzing sound every few seconds over entire audio. Any help here?  Thanks

Media Encoder: Error Compiling Movie - Unknown Error

As the title suggests, I am having problems with Adobe Premiere Pro CC 2014, and Adobe Media Encoder CC 2014, and this - "Adobe Media Encoder: Error Compiling Movie - Unknown Error" pops up whenever I try to export my video. Both are in trial versions, but my Adobe Media Encoder CC 2014 had ended, and my Adobe Premiere Pro CC 2014 have about 1 week of trial left. Please help as soon as possible as I need to do a large scale project for my school, so can't work without these fantastic applications. Thanks.

When running cc2015 you get an error: MME device internal error

when running cc2015 you get an error MME device internal error i.e no sound, however it works fine in Pro CS6, is there there a fix for this bug?. Both audition cc2105 and premiere pro cc2015 fail to play any sound. You get an error MME device internal error. It works fine in pro CS6. I am running WIN 10 however all other programs the sound works fine. It looks like there is a bug in the CC2015 versions, please check into this and let me know. Software is up to date

Audio Hardware Changes in Premiere Pro CC2015

There seem to have been some big changes in the Audio Hardware preferences in the jump from CC 2014 to CC 2015.

 

I am using Premiere on a MacPro. In CC 2014, under Audio Hardware, there is an ASIO Hardware section where I was able to set the Adobe Desktop Audio to "System Default Input/Output." This was perfect because if I changed my system output from headphones to line out, Premiere would follow suit.

 

In CC 2015, that option has disappeared. There is a  Device Class dropdown, but the only option I'm given is "CoreAudio." In the default input and output options below there is no option to respect the system's input/output. Therefore, even if I have changed my system output to be line out, Premiere continues to just use the headphone output.

 

Is it possible to get that old functionality in CC 2015? Am I just missing it somewhere? In the help documents for 2015, it seems to suggest ASIO hardware options are only available for Windows and CoreAudio only for Mac. Why is this the case? It was available in 2014. I would appreciate any insight or help in this matter.
