Hello everyone,
I have a noobish type question, but it has been driving me nuts and i know there probably a simple fix. I have been so use to importing footage from final cut and now since i switched over to premiere i have not been able to figure out how to properly import footage from my camera. Every time i go to file browser and select my camera and click the AVCHD folder i right click on the selected clip and press "import" but once i close out of the program and eject the camera i go back into premiere and the footage is offline. so my only work around for this was to manually import the AVCHD folder to my desktop and import the footage that way from that folder already on the computer.. Is there a more official way to import the footage?
If it helps, my camera is the Sony NX5U
