I've been using PPro for about a year now. I'm an pro with about 25 years editing experience. Since updating to CC 2015 one strange thing occurs. With project that have lots of source material, it takes 10-20 minute to open the project.
The first 5-10 minutes is loading the media. As shown in the lower right dialog. But then the RAID stops and the CPU's chug along for another 10 minutes. I am using Menu Meters and I can see a CPU load of 220 processes during this time.
Anyone else seeing this. This is with about 500 gigs of Canon C100 footage and Canon 5D footage.
If I am cutting a 5 gig project, this does not occur, so it's obviously the media. But what is PPro 2015 doing? CC 2014 did not exhibit this behavior.
