Insert a larger gap

Dear Forum Users,

I have 30 adjacent clips on the Timeline. When I delete one of those clips, of course, there's gonna be an empty space there. How can I make that empty space bigger without affecting the adjacent clips in any way?

In other words, how can I insert a longer clip into the empty space witout overlapping/cutting the adjacent clips?
