I've seen lots of discussions and advice on how to create old time footage FX but I've never seen anyone talk about how to get that "shutter roll" that happens when footage has been projected a ton too many times.
I'm trying to duplicate this -- think of the stuff they used to use in movie trailers in between clips that doesn't hold steady very well -- but I can't find anything that even comes close. I just want the titles in particular to "shake" or roll occasionally -- anyone have any suggestions of things to try short of just animating the title itself? (Which I'll try but it's quite a bit of work).
