Problem with combining 29.97fps and 50i (25 fps) sources into one sequence Pro 5.5

Hello,

It's been a real pain. I have two cameras, one use 50i HD format and one saves as MOV HD files 29.97fps, no option to change it.

I created a new project and finished all the editing. Now while the 50i shots looks good, the MOV, 29.97 shots looks realy bad, they are very choppy.

Especially when panning or zooming.

I created a new sequence that is HD 29.97 fps, and copy and paste the whole old sequence data into the new time line. Surprisingly the 29.97 shoots looked much better and also the 50i shoots looks fine.

But now I have all these missed sync parts on the sequence with no easy why to fix it.

It looks like the transformation from 25fps to 29.97 fps starched some clips.

Don't know what to do?

I read that you can use after effect to trasfrom the old shoots within Premiere into 25fps much better then Premiere doe's but I don't know how to do it.

I really don't want to re edit all form scratch.

Many thanks
