In a recent project, I did a pass at editing three video streams in one timeline. Later on, I did some color correction on the files in another timeline, and exported the streams to three new video streams. (For example, 00000.MTS now had a color corrected copy called "00000 CC.MTS") I'd hoped to go to the edited timeline, and simply replace the streams there with their cc'd counterparts.
The problem is this. The new files couldn't be used to replace the originals, because of an error called "Insufficient Head Data." The CC'd versions appeared to be identical in every way that counted (resolution, length, format, etc.). What causes this? Is there some way around this?
