My edited audio is not exporting properly.

I edited my audio including key frames. When I export, my changes are not exporting with the video. I've tried resaving, restarting, and updating Premiere. When I reopen Premiere, the audio will not play back properly the first time. When I go back a second time it will play back the way I edited it.
