I have been tasked with recreating the kinds of text and picture effects found on this video in order to create videos for our podcasts: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=v0cRpszFyoM
My experience with video editing is with the use of Windows Movie Maker, but I'm being encouraged to use Adobe Premiere here. After using the trial version for a bit I managed to create a slideshow and have the pictures transition while an audio file plays ... but stuff like having more than one picture display at the same time and having one fade in or out while another one remains in display still escapes me. Any links to a specific tutorial or is there perhaps another piece of software better suited for my needs?
