I am editing on CS5.5 and really love it. The only thing that I am having a hard time dealing with is relinking video clips in my project. I can relink the files just fine the problem I am running into is when I relink them all the data that I have spent hours logging in the "log notes" and "tape name" disappear. I have had some success in keeping that data if I relink when I initially load the show but it is kind of a clunky way of doing it and it is hard to locate which bin the video clip needs to be relinked to because of how my camera labels each clip.
Does anyone have any suggestions on how I might be able to relink my clips without losing all my logging work?
(We shoot with the JVC HM-700u cameras and create .mov video files which I just import directly into my project...I do not use any logging application to get them into the project)
